05 März Film review - Napolian DymaniteThis movie came heavily recomended to me, by many of my close friends. Oh how wrong they were. This movie was meant to have "wall to wall laughs" I personally just fealt sorry for the poor twat.
Set in a rural community, this was possibly one of the weakest movies I have ever watched, the storyline was full of holes, for example, the random girl on the bike at the end who turns up to see uncle Rico, or the transformation of Kip into a gangsta.
Whislt I remember being a teenager, and know all about misinterretated signs, I didn't need to see this kid missing all of the signals sent out by the girl with the rather odd pony tail. Also I felt that she kept to the tradition of American teen movies, the geeky girl, who's actually good looking, (another example would be Alison Hannigan in the first American Pie movie, who was stunning by the 3rd movie). 20 Februar Album reviewJack Johnson - In Between Dreams
I first encountered this album briefly at my old job. It was difficult to hear over the sound of various kitchen appliances. So I decided, on the recommendation fo a collegue, to purchase this album. I was not dissapointed.
Jack Johnson brings a new upbeat, almost joyous feeling to accoustic music. With almost none-existant drumming and very little backing music, the lyrics simply roll off the tounge.
Is this the kind of music that James Blunt would create if he ever found himself in a good mood? Perhaps, although this has much more depth than Blunt's music, and required less narcotics in it's writing.
This album is worth buying, go forth and shop my friends.
